Photo of the day picture uploading?

How do you upload pictures onto the Photo of the Day thread / list of photos for the applicable month?

 

I tried to upload some pics yesterday and earlier today by clicking on the "submit your entry" button and uploading using the usual "browse" and "upload" functions but the pictures have still yet to show with the other pics uploaded.

No error messages

 

I know the pics were not that great but.....

Photos submitted don't automatically show within the Photo of the Day section. Only those that have been selected as a "Photo of the Day" will appear there. All other submissions are hidden from general view.

 

I do see your photos so they have been submitted successfully.

We've got quite a few images submitted over the past while which are good candidates, so photos uploaded may not be selected immediately or even in the week of submission (often the next few days will have already been selected), but that's not to say they won't be selected at some point in the near future - if that makes sense?

Next time I'll make sure I'm riding past the local nudist beach (on a lake), but I'll wait for summer when its bit warmer....
