Bogie, I am on some heavy painkillers, last night I was so sore I actually took two of the capsules instead of one (doctors orders)

Regardless of other worries, well needless to say that I struggled to sleep last night.

I am over and I mean over excited about this.

I picked this up in the bike porn thread, Gummi posted it.

Hubbers were saying we might detract from the "classic" Ritchey look.

You my friend, are a marvel.

What's up that you are on pain meds?

Nothing more classic than the rings on the seat tube and down tube

I pulled the neck a few days before Lowveld Quest, got an adjustment and did the race (stupid idea I know) but rode for 4 days in excruciating pain.

Now it's really badly spasmed and although I need to rest, I can't as we have a big grading at the end of June.

Phsyio and more physio.

Eish bud I can relate to the sore you talking about, I actually sprayed the pinstripes while having another migraine attack and could hardly see a thing (yeah I actually go blind on the one side when I get migraines) but as I love what I do and the excitement that goes along with doing these jobs I just couldn't stop.

As for detracting from he "classic" look I don't think that's at all possible on these steel frames no matter what paint design is put on them. Just pass through Instagram and see all the classic steel frame builders, some of these steel frames are really painted as modern as can be and always still retain that "classic" look. The Martini colours in the design and the actual idea that we have come up with is from that 1st black Martini Porsche you posted that dates from 1972. Cant be more classic than that now can we :w00t:

As for keeping some of the original Ritchey P29er colours if you look closely I have kept some of it in the pinstripes. The darker blue stripe I have actually matched to the original Ritchey and so also the red.

This will still be classic and retro and totally unique all at once. AND for now the ONLY Martini Ritchey P29er in the WORLD

I have with numerous visits to the physio and chiro, it's one solid mass that seems to be braking down a bit.
