I don't know the exact number of megs but its very light....I don't see it being over 3mb per session if its a google earth ride.

If its a video ride...it will tell you beforehand...depending on quality and length anything from 200mb to a couple of gigs...but that is to be expected.

Can you use a 142 x 12 on the Cyclops - how does that attach?

I am actually not sure...gots it on my roadbike with 9mm quickrelease.

Maybe Cycleops can give some input...I know it will work with a mtb ito clearance since you have the ability to move the resistance unit between two brackets...very nifty design.

No it's designed for 135mm dropouts. I don't even think 120mm dropouts will work which is a shame because for ergo workouts a single speed would be perfect.

I would phone the guys in Woodmead, I have seen adopters that you just put on the axle.

Rouxtjie is right about the IPad version of the software, it just works very well. I saw yesterday that quite a significant upgrade on the app is also imminent.

Yea, exciting times since its already a great app, Dave also seems to be very involved with cyclops crew in the US, so he knows what is coming.

Did another quick 45min session last night, didn't miss a beat

I am on the Cycleops Indoor Cycle. Software is the same. I have been using it for a year now. All glitches sorted rapidly by the local guys. It is a great feeling to "ride" Alp Dhuez for a training ride. Ipad works even better than my PC. If you ask Dave and you send a harddrive they will load lots of training rides for you. In the winter I now only ride outside over weekends. Finished a training ride at 23:30 last night. Only issue is the constant smell of vinegar in my study. Virtualtraining + Sufferfest = BIG pool of sweat.

The really sad part about the Bushido is that if they could just make a few subtle changes to the iPad app, it would be very good. I run mine off an iPad, and it does everything I want other than give me my power data out. If it could just do that I'd be happy to recommend the system, as you can often find them heavily discounted (even new) and if you don't use their in-house controller, or the PC software, you get away from most of the bugs.

So it doesn't display any power metrics(current W, peaks, normalized, avg and kg/w ratio) in the app...I thought it did???

I was looking at that route for the weekend....think I might just do it.

Tip: If you use "gears" as opposed to W - set up your virtual bike with a compact crank. Even Contador does. Around a hour of climbing. The first /oldest vid has some bad visuals in the first 10m. The improved version is good. Try and race a virtual partner or you could easily fall into a slow rythm. See you at the top. Edited by TALUS
