A 3D hologram of a cyclist/slow moving truck being projected next to you on the road?

On a serious note though, how cool would that be?!?

In car alert system similar to what is used in the Dakar...just reversed...when a bike comes in proximity, say 100m, internal car cycle alarm starts warning jingle?

Bingo.

A rear facing radar type device that warns the cyclist of a car coming up behind him

. . . and warning the motorist via a flashing light sequence

Will be interesting to see this device. It's not the car coming up behind me I'm worried about, it's the one in the gutter or the truck too far over with a sizeable wing mirror aiming for my head or the swerver.

It'd better tell me that a good way off so I can do something about it else I'll just be turning around to give them a smile!

Any links to the invention?

Furbs, bingo! You anywhere near Stellenbosch?

Yeehaa!

I'm in jhb near the fourways cyclelab.

Thank you! I look forward to giving it a go! Especially with the upcoming morning winter rides

Nice idea to add the light sequence warning!

Twice I have been lightly clipped by a wing mirror.

Both times I came out lucky.
