My father's neighbor was attacked at about 10h00 yesterday morning when returning from Mugg & Bean. He cycled past the attacker (wearing a pink shirt) who turned around and bumped him of his bike and grabbed his phone. He chased the guy but he dissappeared into the informal area.

"]Elbe.vanHeerden@Eikestadnuus.comHe is a journalist at Eikestad Nuus. For now, contact the control centre in Stellenbosch 021 808 8890 and let them know which time you will be coming past Kayamandi (for example). They will deploy law enforcement to that area. (This was suggested by Patrick, 11 Feb 2014.)

Hoe lank is die grond paaitjie daar bo? Die grondpaadjie is in n baie goeie toestand- seker so 250m lank en mens kan hom maklik met jou padfiets ry. Die hek daar word deesdae beman, maar as daar niemand is nie volg jy net die voetpaadjie so 10 meter boontu waar daar n voetgangerhek is waar jy kan deurgaan.

Wannabe Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 There was another attack on a cyclist on Saturday 08/05/2015, also close to the Speed Camera We cycled past the scene at about 09h00. Gentleman was sitting on the pavement with blood streaming down his face. There were other cyclist on the scene already, attending to him. Asked in the passing what happened. He was grabbed from his bike by a single low life scumbag, who after the attack jumped the precast wall and disapeared amongst the houses.Not sure if scumbag got away with anything, as there already was a few rubberneckers around, and we did not want to crowed the scene, so we carried on.
