Does somebody please have the details of the FIZIK agents in SA.

Secondly, how many of you have had a GOBI that cracked on the underside of the saddle, apparently a regular problem

 

Did they exchange your saddle.

I got hold of fizik directly, filled the online form, sent photos and a week later I had my new saddle in hand.

I did stuff around with Cajees for 6 weeks first as thats where I got that bike from. Got the moer in with them and went direct.

 

It was less hassle dealing with a company 10,000km away than with a bike shop 3,3km away

Same here Chukky. My saddle has been with LBS for ages. Last week they tell me there is no claim but they cant remember why they wont warrantee it. So Ill just go diect

I bought a second hand one (but new) and a few months later discovered the saddle had cracked. I did not bother with local agents, filled in the online form for FIZIK , told them I had bought it second hand, they requested the stamped details under the saddle and 2 weeks later I had a brand new one!

So after my saddle was at my LBS for 3 months, I got advice from Hubbers to lodge a claim with Fizik.

I sent an e mail on Tuesday.

Received a response to complete the online claim form on the Wednesday morning.

Completed the form on Wednesday evening.

Received an e mail Thursday morning confirming that the saddle will be replaced.

Received UPS tracking number Friday morning.

This after local agents ignored my claim for 3 months. 4 days to sort oit with an Italian company.

That is flipping shocking, no urgency in SA, frustrates the living daylight out of me

I have just sent a claim to Fizik for my saddle that cracked underneath, will hopefully get replaced.

My saddle cracked in the middle. The agents weren't interested in my problem. Epic Bike shop came to the party with a replacement saddle at cost.

 

Looks like everyone else got great service from FIZIK directly, and you got royally shafted.... at cost :D
