I have entered but not sure what the profile is, the website is a mess! This will be VERY tough. Not manicured, hot, rocky and the climbs tricky. DieVlieg Posted May 27, 2014 Share Agnee, I was hoping for a breather after the Monster. Now it seems I'm in for it again. Luckily I learnt a ton from the Monster and I will come better prepared. Would have done much more training by that time. I am also getting the bike properly fixed tomorrow. It seems like I need to find myself some loose rocks and ride them up and down all day long. First race with my new JHB boyfriend (first MTB ride together, too!) coming up to JHB for work and bringing my bike, its the 75km event or....or there is no chickening out option. Squier Posted June 4, 2014 Share I'm in. Looking forward. I rode 6 hours on the Nissan Marathon last year. Snapped my gear cable early in the race and rode single speed for most of it. Make notes of exactly where in the course you cursed the most.
