Yes please! Can't wait for this, some sick hill reps on my way there via Klapperkop and Rigel, then some epic (if I may use that term) XCO and then a suffer fest back home! Sounds good

Tool-Up Cycles are also involved over there. They are still busy with trail building and will be officially opened on the 28th as a new bike park.

Whether it's this month or the next, I'm not sure.

AWESOME if this is on the cards. Also stay 2km from there and have played around with some of the tracks. Except for the hospital nearby, there is also Castle Walk shopping centre..........for pre-ride coffees and recovery beers afterwards. If only there was also a cycle shop........yoooooh

......or having a brekkie at MIMOS (Waterkloof Ridge Centre)

Anyone got further information as to when this new trail will be opened?

Are they looking to just provide a riding trail or will there be other facilities on site?

Two different parks - the photo posted by mr Bass (lol) is next to the N1. There is another new park opening close to Roodeplaat in te buffelsdrift conservancy, actually grand opening is this Sunday.

Trails are befoo ...er bevange, and free. Around 15km of singletrack there already, with another 10 or so planned for short term (next couple of months) free showers at the Sefudi venue, snack shop etc etc etc.

More interested in the possible new trail just off the N1 (Rigel) as I live in the area and it would certainly make a pleasant change to have a fairly technical route close to home.
