Hi Muggins

Thanx for the feedback. I also sent them a mail and will let you know if I hear something as well. Good to know we are 2 going after this.

Martin

I have just checked now and I have now been added and have a time.

In my email to them I gave them my starting batch and elapsed time and they have entered it. The elapsed time is from when your race started to when you crossed the finish line. I also gave them my race number.

Good luck, they are obviously getting our emails. Catch you at the next race.

Advertised on Trailseeker website as 900m

What was the total ascent for the marathon route. My Garmin measured 1581m and I would like to verify the accuracy?

My GPS said 1244m vertical ascent.

Cant find my results as well on Jumpertrax.

Nowhere to be found.....not nice.

Titan29er - Just send a mail to jumpertrax (info on their website). The guys are busy, but they really do go out of their way to rectify any issues! They updated my result as well after I let them know it was missing. Good Luck.

To the guy that helped me on top of the climb in the half marathon, just after the split.....I cannot thank you enough for the +\-45min u spent holding my broken ankle up in the air while we waited for the recovery vehicle! U did tell me your name but after the stress of the day I had forgotten it. Then there were 3more cyclists that stopped to take over the holding my leg and helped to make a splint,(I had one of their numbers so was able to thank them!) I cannot thank you guys enough and really appreciate the amazing help! And Not only these guys but the 300 other cyclists that also passed to ask if we were ok. I am really impressed with the South African mountain biking community,I think we are a community we can all be proud of!

Hey Saskia Sorry for your ankle. When you're up and riding again we'll give you a Free 10 ticket entry to Hakahana just for your cool attitude, and to help get you legs back on..

Hi All

As usual these forums are limited by the number of active participants, so seeing there are a few of us interested in making great trails and having special rides I'd like some honest feedback on the Nissan Routes. I understand there were some marking issues and confusion and there were long queues for food and beer etc, but I'd like to focus on the ride.. The rhythm, the demand, the balance, the texture....

The intent this year was to 'soften' the 40k to make it both a pleasureable but still challenging experience. The 70k gives us license to use our more serious trails and we expect anyone entering this distance to be aware of the possible technical nature. Bear in mind we prepared 100km of routes this year over some heavy terrain - there is not much more available in the valley and almost every bit of the 35km+ single-track has been hand-cut.

Unfortunately the 20k went badly wrong. This is a pity as we actually prepared a really nice ride and new trails with the sole intent of getting young riders to really ENJOY the experience.

Is there any specific section you really loved or hated?

Where were bottle necks, and if so please your rough batch no... etc
