I wouldnt believe a thing Cound says. Froome each day in each interview and the way he acts lately is far to similar to Lance of back then. Its sad, I used to be a fan of his until recently and until Cound started to make a noise.

Flip.. I actually agree with you.

The tall tree catches the wind. I think Froome is a worthy winner.

Usually after reading a book about a cyclist I end up a bit of a fan. Two cyclists didn't do that for me. One was LA, enough said. The other is Wiggins. I mean the guy actually thinks he is hard core because he listens to Oasis!!!

I like froome, but also don't know whats up with bringing out the book now in the mid of his career and on the eve of the TDF. If he's planning to be a real hero, a book at the end of his career (after hopefully much more wins) would have been much more meaningful.

also as the others mentioned, this surely creates a huge mess in terms of the current team dynamics. Like today when porte didn't feature it makes one think that wiggo would have been a much better wingman on the TDF. And now with the book and these allegations it would be awkard if brailsford would consider swapping porte and wiggo

The proper review by @inrng

Reading those comments afterwards ,some really harsh and some just not fans, would it be wrong to say that once he won his popularity as underdog has started dwindling a bit ?

people are fickle, love him when he plays second fiddle, but chuck him aside once he dominates.

It's sad, as he is a great kid.

Does it mention the time he got caught on the N1 racing home from the university with his bicycle ?

I see the movie is opening this Friday at Ster-Kinekor

"The Armstrong Lies" or something like that.

I watched it twice. I find my dislike growing.

He is young. I am not. If he is only allowed to write his book at the end of his career I might never get to read it. I could be dead.

Just try and see it as part one of a series.

It's not as bad as Justine Bieber. His biography is out and he only just learnt a few weeks back to wipe his own bum.

Hope it doesn't come across as much as a whiney moan as the the extracts have been. I'd like to like the guy but all you ever hear about is this thing about twiggy, that thing about twiggy, blah, blah.

Let us know if it's a good read and not a trot through his career to date.

Everybody starts disliking the winners of the sport at some point

Does he give any tips in this regard? Or is the reader left assume that one should use the pages from the book for this lofty purpose?
