jcza Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Watched final 25km last night and what fantastic racing it was! Attack after attack and the pace was insane. Hope we see more of the same at the Tour. Glance at the profile and it looks like a day for the sprinters but look more closely and the final 30km include some disruptive roads that promise a tense finish with several sharp climbs including a 15% wall with two kilometres to go.

Rider3000 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Awesome solo attack by 'BertoWith Krueziger and a few more teammates, he'll be able to stay out of the wind a bit longer and attack the Skyborgs during TdF. 2nd win for Katusha - very impressive. Nibs looking more settled ad even attacked in the final few kms. Keldermann steady and solid for Belkin. Hi Dale, you know if theres any truth in your man joining Tinkoff saxo ? I would love to have him onboard!!

Luca Wackermann (Lampre-Merida) abandons the Dauphiné. Lieuwe Westra and Jan Bakelants were the two attackers who initiated this breakaway. 45.9 kilometres have been covered in the first hour of racing. Latest time gap: 4.40 to the 16 breakaways at km 42
