I would rather take the heat.. my body doesn't handle the cold very well.

I can take the heat ot the cold, but windy wet weather gets me down

You have to move back together, or ride together in A batch, look in the booklet that is available on the website it tells you what you can and can't do regarding your situation.

http://cdn.entelectonline.co.za/wm-428906-cmsimages/2014RaceHandbook2.pdf under frequently asked questions near the end.

Well then there will probably be one very frustrated A batcher and one buggered mid fielder at the end of day one

Unless we can find a loophole ????. But still can't wait!

Right.. the bike box is packed, bikes washed.. are we there yet

Chill......vat 'n wyntjie......breath in - breath out.......repeat

PS: Guys take extra warm clothes, not for the ride itself, but for the nights in the tents. Maybe a warm blankie or two......temperatures at night seems to be single digits......and the tents are next to the river.

Pak miskien a "plat hond" in.......lekker OBS

I second that suggestion, I had to put on a few extra layers to keep warm at night and by the looks of things the temps are going to drop quite a lot at night over the next few days.

Enjoy!!

What an amazing three days of riding. We are on our way back to the farm right now.

Man that was awesome, most rewarding and fun event I have ever done.

Highlights:

Solly's Folly

Drakensberg Drop

Bone Shaker

Longdrop Pass

Puff Adder Pass

The Bell run could have been awesome, but jumping the tabletops in a 60km/h cross wind was pretty much impossible.

Impressive bike transporter........professional nê!!!!

However, BIG COOLER is missing

Ha ha, that goes on the back of my bakkie[emoji48]

We've had that trailer for yrs, used to use it as a sleeping spot when we went on diving camping trips (before arrival of our kids) converted it for the bikes.. all the bikes nicely tucked in.

Another incredible Berg and Bush. On a sad note, condolence to the family of the rider that lost his life yesterday.

What happened? such terrible news!
