Showers at Trails

What are your sentiments about the availability of shower facilities at mtb trails?

 

Is it a "must have" or a "nice to have"?

 

Will the absence of such a facility prevent you from riding a trail?

Nice to have, for sure, but it won't prevent me from riding there. Just need a changeroom and a spare set of clothes, and you can shower at home.

would love to have, nothing worse than driving home full off mud! but im the type of guy that showers after gym, squash etc..

Not having showers wouldn't stop from riding there.

I would rather not, facilities like these unfortunately tend to attract downhillers

 

Seriously though, they would be nice, but I cant imagine they they would be very nice to step into after a few muddy bikers have gone to town in them.

You should be riding to the trails from home and ride back after.

No need for showers.
