The Specialized Concept Store in Melrose Arch was similarly priced but out of 2.0 width when I bought mine a month or two back. I put the 2.2 on the back and it was fine - in fact a HUGE improvement over the factory-fitted Ground Control 2.1. One of the shop guys told me to always get the CONTROL version. http://www.specializ...st-trak-control fitted the tyres saturday, raced Walkerville sunday... best race ever, tyres gripped so well! slight leak on the valve base still bit sorting that today... thanx for the info.... decided on the 2.3 Ground Control front and 2.2 Fast Trak rear... I managed to get 2 RR's tubeless ready for R400 both so I will try these for a while. I like the Crossmarks but at R600 for the tubeless I just use whatever is at a good price these days...!

Underachiever Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Monorail in front, Crossmark at the back. Bulletproof, but not the lighted of course. Never rode in KZN, but this combo works well for me all across SA
