Links MTB Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 This will be our first W2W and the one issue that I can't seem to get good info on is the availability of charging facilities for cellphones etc. The way I understand it, if one buys the Amped charging unit, then you can recharge it at the Amped sponsored Power House reload facility, but my question is what if you don't have an Amped unit - will there be another basic charging station? How did it work in previous years? For those of you who bought the Amped units - would you say its worthwhile?

For those of you who bought the Amped units - would you say its worthwhile?Last year there was a charging trailer/van... operated early mornings and then from 1pm to 6pm. So you can give in your phone/ gps and leave it there for a couple of hours.

Jean123 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Being quite nervous about my first 3 day stage race, I've been sticking to my training program like toddler snot to your new wool jersey. Mistake I made was not training with my partner often enough... Did a race with him on Saturday & he seemed to struggle a bit, so I'm a little worried about him for the ride. Might end up being a loooong day in the saddle. But I'll try to be a good partner & just encourage all the way. Pretty sure there'll be a time where the roles are reversed as well. Super excited about this! Watching the weather forecast with a keen interest...

Handy to store bike stuff when you go on a weekend away too. Got wheels and handles to make the carrying easier and no chance of the old iPad getting damaged. They are lockable too.

Really hope we also get the bags...No bags since we got bags last year, but i also bought a jacket last year so might flogged my Due south w2w jacket M this year if anyone is interested..... Once I received it of course.
