Seeker911 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I want to buy a few frame parts from http://www.cycle-frames.com/ however their payment gateway does not accept SA credit cards. There are a few options to have a forwarding company buy the goods on your behalf and ship them to SA. Has anyone done this before and what was the experience like ? The other problem of course is cost. My purchases come to 10 dollars but then these guys want 10 dollars for duties and then the total package with shipping comes to 68 dollars for 10 dollars worth of parts !!!! Really ? The parts would actually fit into the smallest of envelopes.

shaper Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 They do PayPal as one of the payment options, open a PayPal account and you can link your SA card to your PayPal account. Then there should be issues. You then pay by PayPal and then will get debitted from your card
The Guy in Pink Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Sometimes if they suspect fraud they have automatic system to decline. Once I had it with CRC and had to phone the Bank credit card division and they then added them to my vendor list or something
Cheabb78 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I tried to buy direct from Oakley US, and they only accepted US issued cards. Chain Reaction Cycles, Wiggle etc are the most user friendly international sites.
