staying at sundawn ranch hotel. But the reviews I am reading now is not looking good.

Ive used N4 lodge before, nothing fancybut all you need for a night over.

Doing road and MTB. I make a weekend out of it each year. I book at Vacation club. Just coming back from 2 weeks lay-off. I will bring up the back of the A-bunches. NB.NB; tie down your waterbottles - last year I lost both on railway tracks.

That looks like the route from 2years ago. i hope it is not repeated, Last year we went out to a nearby Ranch for the more technical type stuff.

Anybody know what the Road map looks like or where we can find an idea of what we can expect. i saw the profile and looks VERY flat.

Any idea why they would have the MTB 25km start ahead of the MTB 50km? So doing two laps with back markers already and then still have 25km back markers on the first lap??

AL for me too. Did 3.22 last year from CL, so hoping for a sub three this year. Also ding the 3.30am thing to get there by 6.15am. By the time we start it will feel like lunch time

AL for me too, been off the bike 2 weeks with bronchitus( still coughing slightly so gonna race without gym).

Also doing the JHB 3am trip . I hope i'm not traveling in 1 degree weather again cos my heater is buggered(lol).

Realised now that my bike doesn't have a Racetec chip on. Bought it for last year's 2 Lost City events and left it on the bike. Not sure when I lost it :-(

 

In any case, do you know if I will be able to buy another one during number collection at Cyclelab tomorrow or maybe at the venue Saturday before the event?
