Alternatively, if the home mechanic wants a much more in depth understanding they can attend the Home Mechanic Plus course of 5 days along with the Cytech Technical 2 learners. A bike mech in the UK earns the equivalent to R200 an hour. Training facilities, course presenters etc is also more than twice as expensive than what the ZAR equivalent would be. Agreed,In addition the facilities,course presenters,facilitators,instructors and the rest are also more than twice the quality of what the ZAR equivalent would be.Precisely why our service levels are so poor.Instead of looking for the cheap option we should be looking to improve the quality of our workshops,mechanics,supervisors etc.Not going to happen under the present mindset ians H2Sport, waveduke and GLuvsMtb 3
