My 2014 Scott Scale 910 carbon 29er was stolen on the 27th of august through a scam on olx.was last seen that evening on the UWC campus with a student called "brian malinga".the bike is red, vrey and black and almost brand new.it has specific markings and detail that i would be able to identify.

Sorry to hear.

Little more details though, this will help to prevent it happening to the rest.

Also place some pictures of the bike up here to help us identify?

Sorry to hear man, beautiful bike, hope you get it back.

What was the scam? Scammers normally prey on your trust and good faith, scum of the earth.

don't know if you want to check out this ad on gumtree - anyone spec'ing a 'top of the range MTB with front and rear disc breaks and shocks' sounds a litlle suspicious...

No pics on the ad though, but may be worth a try? I'm also quite keen to have a look / know what make and model it is, as both my Scott Scale 940's that got stolen earlier this year are still missing...

Grant Reddy from Cash Crusaders in Plumstead reported yesterday that two guys came to the store to try and sell a black and red Scott bike. They had false invoice for the bike and wanted R10 000. He should have video footage available. You can phone the store at 021-7620978
