How is a power meter an upgrade to a bike? Does it improve shifting? Does it improve rolling? Does it improve braking? No, no and no again.

A power meter probably won't upgrade your bike of improve shifting, but in the long run will definitely improve your training and racing. But i will almost definitely upgrade to new groupo if money wasn't an option!!

I have a Shimano 105 10sp..fairly new, was maybe thinking of going Ultrega 10sp... Whats your take?

Either way I wish Shimano would get a make over. I find Shimano road group sets so ugly!

Campag make beautiful groups and Srams groups look super futuristic and are also aesthetically pleasing.

If you want to upgrade from 105 to Ultegra I would recommend getting Sram Force instead.

Sram, Light, Reliable, Sexy!

I would not call Sram reliable, in our team alone, I know of two guys that have had to change shifters and rear mech with less than 10 000km. Sitting on 12 000km with Ultegra and no such issues. I do run a carbon SRAM crank though.

Each to his own. I won't ride Sram road until they sort their end of the range shifting out.  Nothing worse than when you are busting a string going up a hill and you shift down when you were expecting to go up! Not for me, thanks.
