Abercrombie Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I would love to know the reasoning behind changing Vit B12 from a Schedule 1 to a Schedule 3 drug which effectively means getting a prescription.It's a bloody vitamin for ^&*^%# 's sake.
JanJan Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I'm not sure, but here are my reasons:People with undiagnosed Lebers disease used B12 and went blind.Mothers feeling a bit lethargic during breastfeeding used B12 too much and harmed their babies.The age old problems: Mixing B12 and alchohol and they don't read the labels on the vitamins.I would still say take your chance at Dischem's dispensary without a prescription.
