But the hot chocolate there is crap! watery chocolate drink - not nice, a big disappointment when you do not know what expects you!

Legend, what you talking about? I had the best HC at Stellenbosch and at the M&B in Paarl oh, and the one in Durbanville, maybe I'm just not use to sweet thing during training rides...kind of a new experiance for me, feels like cheating:-D

I am talking about the *** hot chocolate at M and B. I only had it in Stellenbosch but I am sure it is the same everywhere. Real hot chhocoalte is done wioth proper chocolate or chocolate powder and, most important, with MILK! M&B is justy crap, it is not nice, it actually is a waste of money. Next time in Stellenbosch, marius, come past my place and I will make you a NAIS hot chocolate!

pricing at M&B is also funny: bottomless hot chocolate is 10, 95, then you get the deluxe hot chocolate, or whatever it is called for a bit more. I asked the waiter, what the difference is and he said that's it's the same drinks!!!

Legend, you pansie, it's the German in you that's doing the complaining, we Saffas are not use to any better..anyways, I don't really mind, I kinda perfer getting a watered down "diete" version , then I can drink more of it!:-P

might be the germ in me, or just that I have tasted much better and when I went there I was all excited about my nice drink and then this watrey thingie came along. I went there with two swiss girls and, everyone knowing about the swiss chocolate quality which is also to be found in hot chocolates, they were quite offended by that drink.

'diet version'? I'm sure there's enough sugar and other stuff in the M&B version to make it as unhealthy as any other. If you take real dark chocolate to make your hot chocolate the sugar content is very low, or at least comparable low, a bit bitter, but the taste is real!

I suggest M&B rename it to 'tasteless hot chocolate' Wink

mmm, yeah, I did have to add 3 of those little brown sugar thingies to mine, but I could see they used the powdered Hot chocolate cuz some of it was still drifting on top..

well, but you had to add sugar to the nasty hot choc to make it drinkable, when using real dark chocolate you just make it better - slight difference!

but by your statement you just agreed that the hot choc there is ***! thanx! Smile
