anybody have experince with these wheels?

Rims are similar in Price to the Stans Rims. Was tempted to build a set of these onto Hopes. Have to agree that they may be a bit heavy (at 485g for 29" rim) compared to Crests (380g), but its not much heavier than the Arch Ex (460g).

 

Joshua from Cyclists Workshop may be able to give you first-hand review of the rims, think he build up a couple of wheels with those rims and he likes them.

I have the Spank Tweet (4 years old, trail bike) and Spoons (2 years old, DH bike)

and I must say I am very impressed, they are slightly heavier but I have had many pinch flats and hard landings and the wheels are almost perfect (like 2mm movement) and no flat spots.

 

I have heard a few people complaining that the spikes bend easily but I have never used them so cant say.

gonna build them for general mtb(looking for something fast ans stiff) weight does"nt bother me(the crest"s are way too soft) gonna build onto X9 hubs with :thumbup: triple butted downhill spokes
