Was approached by a "newby" via PM claiming that he has secured a bond entry and that I should put in a bid for an entry. Aparently the entries close on Wednesday for this, whereafter I will be informed whether my entry was successful or not?

I am a bit sceptic, seeing that this user has no previous posts!

ANyone else contacted?

Thanks

just think about 007.

Q gives him all these awesome toys. amazing stuff.

but never a bicycle. a motorbike maybe is the limit.

ergo, no such thing as a bond entry.

I also received the following PM":

Hi,

I have spots available for the Argus cycle event.

This was accomplished through a bond which was accepted by the Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust.

Few spots left. However all spots must be filled before I register the bond as a list must be presented of all the participants making up the bond.

Kindly note that bond entries are not the same price as SA individual entries which sold out in 18 hrs.

Registration and payment for the bond must be done by latest Wednesday.

Payment to me has to be done by latest today so that the funds can be paid in full across to the Cycle Tour group events account by Wednesday.

If would like to join our bond, let me know at your soonest.

Regards,
FS"

I'm a born sceptic, but it looks like this is your first post too.
