I currently have my Giant seat post that came with the bike it's a 30.9mm and it's a bout 300g, so I would like to shed off some weight! I have looked at the KCNC and Ritchey Seat posts. Thanks in advance!

I have a 100+ kg mate who rode a 27.2 at full extension for years without any issues after bending everything else he tried. I'm pretty sure Thomson kit was developed by aliens.
