In the end the best man will win. If he should cheat he will eventually be caught and found out. Yes lots of flags go up for various riders and at the weirdest of times.

Contador made his mistake and paid the price. He has comeback and returned by proving himself again after that. Doping has never really advantaged any rider.

Having said that I am still a Contador supporter and will remain one EVEN IF he should not win TDF.

The tour ain't finish yet and the fat lady is far from having sung the last tune up to the mountain top.

Froome is leading yes but it's not OVER.

OK ENOUGH BITCHING PEOPLE!

Tomorrow the Col da Tourmalet.

Who will it be then (And for Pete sake don't shout Froome!)

I hope Q dog takes a win. Maybe even Teegel ( bit of a cry baby) just to make it interesting.

As for the bitching, it's not going to stop....

Don't think I questioned Porte, should I?[emoji6]

. Porte is looking for a new job, he'll turn himself inside out during tdf.

I just said everything will be questioned. From he data down to the missed doping controls.

And I don't see why we can't raise an eyebrow and go.. hey wait.. that looks dodge, we do it alll the time.. are sky and froome off limit, just like US Postal and LA was, should we not say.. hey what's going on?

Fair point, but if we look back at 2013 when Mr Froome last went for a pedal around France he won then by 4 minutes over Quintana, so he is about as strong as he was 2 years ago which is about right.

My biggest question is if you were doping, why not just chill on the climb and then sprint for 25 seconds a day, over four days you will have 2 minutes and not raise too much suspicion.

If you are smart enough to get past the doping controls you would not drawn attention to yourself like today.

I would not mind seeing Ryder give it a go or a Yates brother

What is significant of today's stage is Conto placing 11th..not sure when last that happened in a grand tour on a finish like that.Dont think we will see him on the podium in Paris.

What Froome did today was nothing different to what he did in 2013 on the first mountain day.He is back to his old best and will only loose now if something major goes wrong.

Great to see Gesink up there today..always been a brilliant climber.Hope he gets up high on Gc

The domestique you refer to is going to BMC to be their GC contender.... So let's just keep things in perspective ;)

even that could be history repeating itself.

(edit)

Im not attacking Froome, it is just how I see pro cycling in general.

Trying and accomplishing it, is 2 different things entirely.

He himself said it would be very difficult. All of us said it would be difficult.

And if accomplished HIGHLY suspicious.

Froome has gone on record, more than once, that his samples may be kept and tested in years to come when new tests are developed for new drugs we are currently either unaware of or unable to test for. He spoke of his win in 2013 as standing the test of time.

I am a great admirer but never been a true fan but he is pure talent and he is practically home grown. I am impressed.

Yeah I don't think it's a choice but actually a rule these days that samples have to be kept.

Lance did not have a Lance type guy 6 years before him. :P :P

If I was Froome, I would take the, "What you going to do about it approach? wa wa wa" and turn off my twitter and only speak to the press that ask the right questions.

I would also learn to Wheelie like Sagan and attack by pulling a one handed wheelie showing the rest of the peleton a big L gesture.

I'm rooting for Van Garderen for The Tourmalet and you guessed it - Contador for Alp D' Huez (when they get there)

Maybe Contador is so confident that he is planning on sitting back and putting 5mins into the rest of the guys on D'Huez? It is straight after a moerse descent....
