"I didn't feel great today. I wasn't able to breathe very well. it just wasn't my day. I usually do well on this sort of day, but this just didn't go well."

I would certainly have some questions if Contador suddenly "regains" his spark, Similar happened to Landis in 2006 and its common knowledge what was the reason for that.

Weather: sunshine with some cloud cover in the mountains, warm with 31˚C in the valleys and a light N-NE wind making a headwind early on then a tailwind in the finishing straight.

For the first time since his debut, Peter Sagan lost the Green Jersey.

In 2012, 13 and 14 once he took it early in the race he held it all the way to Paris.

Well I'm not his number one fan but as some hubbers appear to be Contador fans fanatics who in their eyes can do no wrong and up the rhetoric against sky/froome I feel a need to even things out. (good for goose good for gander).

It's all good and has been happening around the TDF since the Hub started. Of course it could all blow up in my face, like the LA TDF era but I'm a big boy and can take it and the cycle of life goes on.
