Or did he just match them pedal stroke for pedal stroke?Same goes for all the other GC "contenders".Froome matched their attacks everytime, pedaling back to them on his own, no pushing or pulling him back up to them. I think he rode a masterfull race.Put the time into the guys early on, and all he has to do is stay with the oke closest to him on GC, and not allow him / them to claw time back on him.Simple, effective, brilliant!! Its a team sport, the other team members work for him, fetch and carry, shield him from the wind, PACE him...arrgghh you know this already ... In principal I agree with your sentiments, at the end of the day he has to be able to follow his team mates when they pacing him or the other riders if there are no team mates around
