Pure Savage Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 They need to sort out the introduction of disk breaks hey.. those damn carbon rims don't wanna break in the wetIf you watch the shot from rear Moto, lots locked up and fell on the own. Discs would have been worse!!!

HappyMartin Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 If you watch the shot from rear Moto, lots locked up and fell on the own. Discs would have been worse!!!I disagree with you I am afraid. Discs won't solve everything and won't solve panic grabbing of fistfuls of brakes for sure. But discs are more progressive in wet. Rim brakes do nothing until the rim is wiped clear of water resulting in riders putting more and more pressure on the levers, then as the water clears the brakes grab. I find discs much more progressive and predictable in wet. Â That's my experience with mtb in wet vs road in wet anyway.
