What a event,great weather,great food at tables ,friendly staff.

 

Bucket list stuff,if you are planning to ride this event remember the music.Listening to your favorite tunes cycling alone at 2 in the morning it makes the miles fly by.

 

My best moment was seeing the sun rise over the Karoo and putting my light off.

What a awesome experience. Tough Tough. But was pissed of when I looked at my profile map and saw that The last 60km are flat and when I arrive at km 60, it was climbing and Climbing and Climbing some more....

I'm with you ,,those climbs really sucked and it was hot ,sense of humor failure right there.

I honestly don't think the profile was wrong just the scale of the frame sticker printout came out "condensed". Because of the distance If they had to zoom in on the profile, the sticker probably would've spanned the entire frames top tube
