yusufakals Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Hi recently I bought some road conti tubes from my lbs and when I got home I realised I bought a 60 mm valve length, im using a merida scultura road bike. Is there any advantages in using a 60 mm tube? They also cost like 15 bucks more than the 48 mm.

Is there any advantages in using a 60 mm tube? They also cost like 15 bucks more than the 48 mm. I know I'm far from normal, but I cannot stand looking at a bike that has an oversize valve stem. It drives me nuts. Keep it as short as possible, to match the rim.
