YUMEYA Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Tag watches has concept stores but they still supply independent stores.I like spez concept / elite stores and I have supported three of them not so long ago.I just wish my LBS was given a bit more time (if that is the case) to get his Sh#t together in order to open their own elite or concept store.One would think they have been doing the brand long enough to deserve a little leeway.But it seems spez mind is made up.I will speak out for my Lbs. In fact I have many lbs in ct and I will speak out for all of them if I feel they are being treated unfairly.I will crit these concept stores and I will walk into one tomorrow to service my fork and shocks. Just like I will crit honda and take my car in for a service the very next day. And they will smile and say, yes Mr Zuma, thank you Mr Zuma.And I expect a call from a call centre asking me to rate the level of service.
Spez247 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Spez247 - that's all good and well if you want to limit yourself to one brand.I didn't say I like it, or agree with it, but I can see what they are trying to achieve. My LBS lost the Spez brand too, due to this "re-modelling". I bought 3 & a half Specialized bikes from my lbs over the years. Will I buy another? Probably not, for various reasons. But there is a good chance I will buy something that I see on my lbs' floor.But in the end, what will happen is you won't limit yourself to one brand, you will just have to go round the corner to the next offering. Isn't that happening with Swift in CT?
