I sometimes join the Bruce Reyneke club ride, which leaves from their shop in Lynwood rd at 6am. Hilly route, +/- 90km ABC bunches. A-bunch used to be an informal race, with guys competing for informal KOMs & sprints, but lately the club members complain if the pace is too hard in the A group.

Nowerdays I try to sit on the 3d wheel or so, dont interfere with the KOMs or sprints.

Mud Dee, we're planning a slow-ish ride from close to Psycho's place on Friday.  About 60km.  Mostly ladies.

Saturday either join Wolverine or go to Suikerbosrand.

Oh, and we want to try and ride to Harties and back on Sunday.  Depending on where we start, around 90-100km's.

(This is all Zoo's planning I must add!)

You're welcome, But:  If you want to do hard training rides, rather join one of the other rides.

Dee, Christie is right. The Select Cycling Club (Bruce Reynecke Cycles)rides are quite fun, used to be tough but are not too hard lately (probably due to Cape Epic riders riding longer at a lower intensity).

Pace should pick up nicely again after this weekend...(could go to about 33-35km/h)

Hmmm, this can be either a good or a bad thing....  ConfusedEmbarrassed

Whatever!  I just know that I'm nowhere near fit and I am not going to be pushing it.  So I don't want there to be any misunderstandings!  But if these rides follows our December training routine, it's going to turn into a FUN w/end!  Big%20smile
