DJR Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Yup, I've entered. Decided that it is such a beautiful ride, I cannot possibly miss it. Yes, it is shorter than usual, but I'll just go faster! At the end I'll be just as knackered!
Johny Bravo Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Doing it, but no ways I am using the road bike. Doing in on my dual sus mtb, perfect for those speed bumps and terrible road surfaces. Beautifull route aswell, taking the girlfriend with.
Korkstah Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 pity about the route but at least it's something. last season we had GP roller coaster and bay city cycle tour so yeah disappointing as we already lost the engen cycle that was in paarl which really was awesome and now a short version of this .

iamStewart Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 How many metres does the race cmimb in total? Strava's route builder says 1012m, but I highly doubt that is at all accurate (knowing the issues strava has with elevation). Have heard others saying it more like 850/900m.
