Hi guys

I'm in the process of buying xt brakes. Where can I find white hydro lines that will work with the xt brakes. I'm in the east rand. Thanks guys

Why?

Coloured brake lines and gear cable outers is the ugliest thing to me they have ever invented for bikes....

Just saying....

Depends on how it's done.

Black frame with white or yellow cables a no-no.

So what colour brake lines do you recommend ;)

No fancy colours. Just white. I have white outers at the moment with my mechanical discs on. It compliments my white bars, wheels, stem, seat post and seat which are all white.

Any colour as long as its black ;)

I could only get white when I sliced my one hose. For a while, I was running a single white hose and the rest were black and carbon (fully enclosed goodridge cable system)

Now I have black and white - white sleeved braided hoses for the Codes and black gear cable housings. It works!

Hey help A brotha out...

Hey brotha, you resurrect a deeply sleeping thread and then you want it to wake up running ????

I went to a hydraulic place and they had a box full of banjo bolts of various sizes plus all the compression fittings etc. To make up a new hose for the rear XT brake on the tandem. Germans. In Windhoek. Very particular, ja?

Dammit , looks like I'll go broke or search for ever or just have to keep my black hoses.
