hayleyearth Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 All that rode there this festive season what was it like? Raining and muddy and slippery    They put a clay top layer over the red routes flowy section and in the rain it just became real real dangerous. (One could barely walk on it to safety once one fell and it just clogged your bike up.) The second day we went to go ride the main flow line (the one with the big gap) but it was just pouring with rain. Sad for us. Bad timing. We will go back though. Great trails those. We really enjoyed the yellow.

Steven Knoetze (sk27) Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I skipped riding at GRTP after hearing how muddy it was.I ended up cycling the Saasveld trails in George which drain pretty well and were very enjoyable.Also no charge to ride which was a shock.
DanMan Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I rode there just after Christmas. Awesome trails! Best I have done. Was a bit muddy with all the rain but who cares? I was on my MTB that's what matters!Blue route was my favorite. The coffee shop,bike wash and shower facilities is a real bonus!Can't wait to go ride there again!
