It depends on what you are going to use the bike for.

If you are using for a weekend ride around with the kids, then it will probably be fine.

If you are going to use it on MTB trails, then I suggest you get rid of it very quickly. It will end up annoying you to the point that you will probably lose interest and get rid of it anyway.

I see the shipping weight is 19.5kg, that alone will kill you (although I assume there must be an allowance for the packaging).

Honestly, as above, if you plan on doing anything other than mooching around gravel roads with the kids then rather bin it and start again.

Thanks guys, recommendations for a decent bike? Im 1.9m so it will have to be a 29,I'm looking for the best buy for a beginner, not too expensive

It'll be at your own interest do some research on your own first as you'll need to know the components that's on the bike (in relations to what you want on a bike & your budget)

Check the classified sections & also pay a visit to your local bike-shops to see what's available & their going prices.

At 190cm you'll need an extra large frame.

As mentioned above Axis make some good value bikes.

As for cost you looking at between R6000 - R8000 for a decent entry level proper mtb such as momsen, axis, titan, etc.

Then the next step up starts at about the R12000 mark but thats it you are going to start doing some races and looking to invest in something that will last, give you piece of mind, enjoyment and easily serviceable. Such as the GT zaskar sport, air fork, 2x10 drive line, cluch derailleur, etc.

A suggestion I would make is the Axis range. I'm 1.91m tall, weigh 119kg give or take a few grams. Currently to ride the Axis A10 and not a single issue so far.

+1

1.90m and 93ish kg and ride an Axis A20, no issues so far... And was bloody good value for money..
