On a new fram, how do you protect it from the daily use scratches and trail abuse?

Placing duct tape on the high impact areas such as under BB?

Same with where the cables touch the headset etc, will sticking some duck tape do the trick? And will the duct tape glue cause issues in long run?

Even better, go to one of those places that does the VPS films that they stick on cars to protect the framework.

Stick this on your frame in the areas you want protected. If you do this carefully it is almost invisible and does a great job of protecting your frame.

Don't use duct tape. Glue becomes "snotterig" after a while. Successfully been using electrical insulation tape (Nitto brand @ Builder's Warehouse) over the high impact/rub contact areas. Get tape in same colour as bike and becomes sort of invisible

I used cricket bat antiscuf, a scalpel and a hair dryer. You don't see the film on my frame. Cheap enough to redo at a service.

Howdy.
