Will there be press?Yes there will be press, we had Carte Blanche at the first one we did. No it's not for rider safety in the Midrand area only, it's for all cyclists, it's to let us be seen and heard .The last time we did these, bike attacks took a strong decline .We have a Soweto one planned and hopefully that will get some government officials involved. As for the date some people mentioned and it clashing with other events.Firstly, not everyone does all the events.Secondly, we were asked to arrange another awareness ride, asked for a date and nobody came forward with any suggestions.Thirdly, those who choose not to be there because for whatever reasons they may have, don't forget to thanks those that will be there and make a difference for all of us .

That's some high-level press. I see the ride will be around 2 hours. Safe to assume will be doing approximately 40km?

Lurch the stalker Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 If I come along and the last bit be true, the 2 hours duration will be false. You may have some competition...my sister is planning to ride...she should take around 19 hours for that distance....
