Fisan Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 G'evening Hubbers. The time has come for my GF to replace her drivetrain. Unfortunately, the quote from the LBS is more than what we paid for her bike in the first place!! So, sorry EconomySA, I decided to use CRC. Just one tech aspect - she's running a 9 Speed drivetrain, and I'm getting a new (Acera) crankset. On the one page it says 7/8 speed. On the other it says 9 speed. Which one is it? Or can it be compatible with all three? Thanks in advance for the input!

I'll check for you tomorrow but a crankset must be like 600 and 300 for cassette and 240 for chain...How much have you been quoted at the shop? Or is it their added labour that is scaring you off?
