rudi-h Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 carbon boy is an attention seeker trying to show the whole world how awesome he is. he then he goes on and on and on to try and justify riding like a tjop based on senseless arguments of other things that we do everyday that are also dangerous. then he blames everybody not bowing down before him for being hypocrites because we do other reckless things and then judge him for riding like a douche. yawn... dude, if you want to ride like a tjop go ahead and do it, nobody here has tried to stop you. it certainly is not cool to ride like you do and even less so to make videos of it for the world to see. who knows, you might impress some (as I mentioned in your other delightful thread, specifically those that live in trailer parks), but most of us just don't admire the way that you ride your bike in traffic. if you really want to boast your skills, just get yourself a DH bike and ride trails that require real skill, not just recklessness.

In your case, just because you CAN, does not mean you SHOULD. Freedom of choice needs to be exercised with responsibility, otherwise the world has fools like you running around. EDIT: on further reflection, and with reference to the red bit, I think you actually are the victim here. You did not choose your DNA, which has led you down this reckless and irresponsible path. Your parents are to blame. I remember reading a (very very reliable, maybe not) statistic about the increase in rear-end crashes after ABS came in... There was an initial drop (cause it was safer)... then it rised (cause people start pushin the limits)Its because people do not understand the main benefit of ABS. It is not to make you stop quicker, in some conditions ABS takes longer to stop, the main benefit of ABS is to still be able to steer the car under heavy braking. Something that cannot be done when you skid in a car without ABS.

My top speed ever was 93km/h - (no cars around) coming down Ou Kaapse Weg in a howling South Easter and I was over 90 for no more than a couple of seconds. Ou Kaapse Weg has a huge gradient40km/h SE straight from the back Just wondering - take it - leave it - is there another way Does this constitute trolling?

No driver in his right mind will look out for a cyclist on a road like that at this speed...a car makes a little swerve and you are toast....one more for the statistic... f%$#%% stupid....
