Most of the members posting in that thread are grown ups, but you wouldn't say so from the tone and content of their interaction. Don't see why most people here can't self moderate or the community can keep it together without one of the moderators having to shut the topics down before they have been concluded. (On this note I will add that there are many topics which have evolved through the crazy stage and just reach meaningful interaction in the build up to a conclusion only to be robbed of that by being locked down!)Yes Tubehunter we know you are Matts neighbor. (I gaveup single life, met a super rad lady and we found a bigger place together about a year ago but this is heading into overshare and digressing already....) Indeed they are 2 separate issues and both should be addressed. I too do not like this unresolved half public spat stuff. Rather find a resolution than allow people to find out through their other networks anyway! Not sure how much appetite Matt will have for both at this time and which will be his priority though. Those are his choices to make.

Matt don't forget the issue is about the bicycle and its condition and the 24k paid for it and not about the few threats Lisa received you got that wrong. It's no longer about the bicycle and it is about the threats and personal information being disseminated on a public forum. Its not about the bike

But my message that I want to post to that thread is with Matt and up to him to post it or not. I was open and honest from the get go and never have I told two different stories and never had someone caught me in a lie or trying to bend the truth the validate my side of the story. One of the problems of the last topic was the moderation and why it took so long for the topic to be closed. I can clearly foresee the same thing happening here again. If there is no intention of allowing Wil to give his say post factual evidence, then there's no need for this topic to stay open.

The bit about me being national and continental champ is true. Sure it's age cat stuff because Brand is a monster but I have the medals and stripes on my trisuit. Besides the point really though. This is thehub. It aint real life. Sometimes it spills over into real life when people act like twats. People come and go on thehub all the time. Omega will not be missed and there is a 90% chance he'll come back - either as himself or a pseudonym. My sarcy remarks were really to highlight the fact that athletic performance and quality of character have zilch to do with each other.
