you can TRY Evobikes or Easybike. If you're dealing with EasyBike though, make sure to phone them first as they have screwed up a few orders recently - showing stock levels that just don't exist.

awesome ,will do . Like trail-er-park said always good to have real world experience .????????

Awesome writeup Pikey.

Need more content like this here for sure.

The title got me really excited because of the 2 bikes you put in the ring.

I thought man thats a good fight.

Then you surprised me with a pike vs stage showdown.

I've been waiting on that. Seriously.

tough to say. I haven't ridden it a lot. It's probably far better in cornering, once you've leant the bike all the way over. But there's one thing for sure - the SG casings are super duper strong.

I can also vouch for the strength of the SG casing, strongest tyres I've used so far..

I'm digging my RR, but it can catch you out with its non existent grip on the small knobs (locking up the rear and backing it in can get quite hair raising )... But once you lean it over its awesome.

As for durability, I dont see them lasting too long, the small knobs are already showing wear and the side knobs show some tearing, and I probably have less than 200km on the tyre. I think the wolverine will def out last it.

cool, both very capable bikes and both had top notch forks on. I suppose at the end of the day it's personal preference and want you want from your ride.

The only thing that didn't really cross my mind whislt actually riding the bikes was the wheel size. I know everything they say about 27.5 and i don't doubt there right to some degree. But imho the benefit is so negible in am/trail/ enduro type bikes.

cool will see which is easier to get my grubby paws on quicker. But am keen to have a go with both.

Am liking the hair raising part ????

If just one person is toying with the idea of buying an enduro/ trail machine, reads this and decides to take the plunge instead of a carbon 100mm 9r. Then bonus especially if it's a 26r that he stole from someone coz there dead....???? lmfao

..... the Reign of terror is coming ....

It has a Fox 36 ....

... you ready Pikey??

Definately like both bikes, an even both forks. The comparisons are great and like Pikey said, its bout the ride. I only ride for the njoyment. Racing doesnt really interest me, its all about the fun factor

Just out of curiosity. You mentioned weight a few times. Meta being heavier

Do you know what the difference is? Grams or tons? Or was it just a feel?

guessing 2-3kgs..well at least it felt like that hauling up those hills.

We will weigh both bike and post the weights as we are also curious. Would be gobsmacked if it's not at least 2kgs....yea meta being heavier, but where there's a negative there's always a positive and that was anything that pointed remotely downhill the meta was a beast. And through the rocks and roots it just gobbled it up.

Maybe something that adds to this is I'm no heavy weight and normally have to pedal and to get my pascoe rolling. But these are after all only my personal view points.????

Wheelset alone is 400g heavier on Meta.

Total weight on Meta at least 2.3 kg up on Pascoe .... best guess.

I would be lying if I said I don't want to race????.... But the fun factor is far more important than it was. Once your a race-ist always a race-ist ???? red mist syndrome is incurable ,completly ????
