Only one I'd say that gives it a bit of trouble is Conters A Line. That's sketch and steep. Definitely felt the need for my extra squish there! But again, it's the rider. I'm sure Duran could whip his trail bike there all day long and still beat 90% of the entrants.

Agreed, its very steep, but if you drop your dropper in the frame and add some compression damping to your fork it will probably work depending on your set up. Still much easier on a proper DH bike though...

Yeah. Agreed. Though at the last shuttle day I went to, which was there, I went through a set of brake pads I was knyping so much. That and I discovered afterwards that my settings were waaaaaay out, and my crank was stripped and loosening itself all the time. Not exactly confidence inspiring having to tighten it at the top of every run!

Yeah... you always seem to know a bit more on the WPDH side of things... Apologies if I mis-spoke and got you onto something that you don't know about...

Lol, nope.  I have no idea how these things work.

Sorry then dude...

I know you have a lot on your plate from Paarl, so ja - don't envy the politics! Having said that, they're not that much better down this end.

Anyway - back to enduro. Would love to do the Steilte enduro class, but unfortunately my new brakes took that budget away (codes funked out - master cylinder went NOPE)

Tokai would be better once all the logging has been done and all the trails rebuilt. Word on the ground is that they have been instructed to remove all the pine by end 2016. Whether that was a Parks directive, or from Cape Pine's owners, I'm not sure.

Sounds like it won't be worth renewing my pass when it expires.

TBH bro, I wouldn't. Not yet. Wait for the new trails to come through, as you'll effectively have 6 to 12 months of no DH trails, no sneakies and no replacements until the logging is done and the detritus carried away. Only trails that will be unaffected are the snakes, DH3/Vasbyt and the lower ones - roots x2 and fairy. The committee has approval for the new trails, but those won't happen until the compartments are clear. Then the job of cutting them will start.

Having said that I still want to play around on Vasbyt and get my technique better, cos I suuuuck at the moment.

But ito trail variety, it's gonna be bleak for the next few months. Already they're moving on to DH0 and there's equipment moving on level 5 to get the stuff cut and removed... Boulders and DH1 are going to be next. A lot of work ahead of us, man...

None for a while... signal hill isnt legal, table mountain doesn't really have a lot... so its tygerberg or limited trail options at tokai. Or jonkers.

Or wapad etc but that's xc suffrage.

Does anyone know if i am aloud to rode the entire route as it was for the conti's enduro?

Cz that could be a valid option. Jonkers just seems so far and expensive to travel to every weekend.
