'Dale Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Percentage wise, how much has it improved your cycling performance?Only 11 months inI'm racing as well as I've ever couldCan recover better and train with more efficiency / accuracy (10-15% might be an overestimation, but that's an idea)
GoLefty!! Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 the systems will all be string gauge setups. no algorithms. the pedal system is Look based. either pair both pedals or only one pedal to your head unit.( not sure why the option) the crank is more like a unit fitting onto the crank. cost : pedals + -  10kcrank +- 16k from the PT guys at the expo   thanks, looks like 4iiii Precision for me
HappyMartin Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Wow! That's impressive. I would do it for 5% I guess the next step for me. Weighing up options at the moment.
devocean Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 The person at the PowerTap stand at the CTCT expo, after I told them I was more keen on Stages, told me that they would be announcing a new non hub based power meter that would be cheaper than the hub based one (which currently costs 8k). So when I asked if it was crank based they said yes, but seemed very hush about it.
Skinnyone Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Hopefully by then our Rand has strengthened against the dollarNo such luck there! over 12-1 this morning...
