Staying in a lodge in Magalies (won't name the place as I don't want to create bad rep), guys broke broke into our chalet while we sleeping and stole valuables including my santa cruz tallboy mountain bike. Please can all riding in the Magalies area, especially those riding close to breedts neck, be on the lookout for my bike. Anyone that identifies it and if I get it back there is a reward. Thanks all!

DIPSLICK Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 let me try again,,, Bud sorry about your loss, like I said the loss is one thing the violation of waking up to find out these creatures where walking in and around you really sucks(I know) Just be lucky they left you and your loved ones alone, material goods can be replaced I will keep my eyes peeled in and around that area,,,sadly I have been hearing some scary stories about maglies lately and violent ATTACKS are really on the increase ,,,,Again sorry about your loss

I hope it comes home for you!As a footnote though please remember that the Maanhaarand area where this occured is some distance from Magaliesburg village (about 15km out of Magaliesburg towards Rustenburg on the R24), so far, touch wood, Magaliesburg town itself is relatively trouble free

Where we all ride the crime is up,The last article I read was " at an all time high"I don't know about that but I live in Magalies town and have done for 22 years with no issues (other than some halfwit breaking into my car, stealing a cassette player and leaving my CAT boots!) The crime is no more than what would usually occur in a small town/area like this.
