Picked up my Banshee Darkside this weekend and it looks super hot

My bike room is looking awesome at the moment.

Cant wait to test her out this weekend at the St Ives race.

If she rides anything like her little sis the Spitfire its going to be awesome  :w00t:

Congrats Peach!!!

Man, you are the luckiest guy on earth.......probably. One of my short term goals, is to save up for a Rune.

1 Banshee=Euphoria

2 and more=Nirvana

......well in my mind at least.

Happy shredding!

I see there is an open space for another bike on your wall...you need one that can jump some dirt! ;)

I heard there will be 1 on the way to SA soon :whistling:

Love the color of the Darkside, you need sunglasses to look at it in the sun.

Can't wait to give it a proper test at st Ives this weekend.

Took some snaps this weekend.

This Orange is crazy, Its the first time I have had to change the saturation of a color to get it back to its normal. When I opened the pictures on my PC it freaked out and made the frame bright red and blown out, awesome

So, how did the bike behave at St Ives?

As for the review.

Only managed to get in 4 runs at St Ives including my 1 race run, so that didn't give me much time on the bike plus the track was pretty chilled.

After a sketchy slippery first run I started to settle in on the bike.

It feels really smooth through the rock gardens and landing drops/jumps.

I felt pretty comfortable hitting the jumps but didn't want to tackle that step down so soon in our relationship.

I took her jumping at Wolwespruit this past weekend and she loves getting airborn, she even holds the record for the first dual sus bike to get the tripple double challenge on the pump track

This weekend at cascades will be a really good test for the Darkside, nice long track, lots of features and I know how other bikes handle that track

  • 4 weeks later...

Hey Peach how is the Spitfire I'm looking at getting one so need some feedback. Was thinking of the Rune but I think it's a bit much for SA type of trails.
