I live in Port Elizabeth so I think 140mm travel will be the sweet spot, 150mm max. All help and advice will be much appreciated.Thanks

Seems like it will be a real trail shredder. The short stem, wide bar combo and 1x drivetrain straight out of the box are nice touches.

In fact I'd got as far as to say that the frame is somewhat overpriced. But still, it's what I'd get anyway.

You are absolutely correct Fact is you goto go a looooong way to find anything better. But with 40k you got a few more options. The difference is you not looking for a fancy fancy on a Trance budget. And used there is plenty options... including a Giant Trance and Reign
