So you think your long rides are really long....check this out:
 
This guy is training for RAAM - Race Across America(June 2015) is over 3000 MILES(4800km's) and last year's winner did it in 7 days 15 h 56 mins averaging  about 631 km's per day!

 

one year we must all chip in for Frail to give it a klap.

loads of saffa's have done this.

 

Just look the the entrance lists.

 

AVG 15/16km/hr for a few days is a long time on a bike. Not that I have been looking at this ride and planning and more looking and speaking to people about sponsorship. But the wife kinda likes the idea of a camper van trip across america ........ :whistling:

oh and in case 4830km in 12 days

 

402.5 km/day

 

if you have 15 hr days = avg of about 27km/hr ...........

 

maybe one needs to sleep less :blink: :wacko:

 

and $2000 off for an entry ........ what was that about the epic price tag ?
