Negative rise stem or remove spacers?

More weight on the front is good for climbing and taking corners, more grip. Give the low handlebar setup a chance, you might even have back-ache for a few rides. Try it and give it a chance, strengthen your core.

Spacers on top leave some pretty lekker bruises should you OTB. I learned this lesson leaving most of my inner thigh a delightful mish mash of Maroon and purple with almost yellow highlights. Dead sexy stuff. My maiden at the time grew to love it and actually said that a smooth clean shave thigh would have been showing off.

Been riding this bike a few days and I would have to say that those okes with the thick glasses and pink socks that decide on angles and tube lengths and materials do know what they are doing after all these years

Do yourself a favour and get a proper bike fit - Cyclefit 0725662925

with your body correctly positioned from top to toe, you will have accurate measurements and real advice as to saddle height over bars, and how to set your stem appropriately.

Then take it out and feel the difference...

If he had to do it with each bike he owns, new stems and all the other stuff they recommend, he could buy a few new bikes...

Interesting comment that, makes me think how do those with 'lots' of bikes do it ..... have one fit on road and MTB and then try to replicate it?

Keeping in mind that all my bikes are bought merely on frame size (L) and an 'opportunity' that came along.

So how many bikes do you have now?
